Established in 2019 as Vietnam's pioneering Buy Now, Pay Later provider, Fundiin is evolving into a data-first, AI-enabled platform for financial services in 2026. Fundiin partners with leading banks and financial institutions to orchestrate and optimize the distribution of a wide range of products - from BNPL and personal loans to credit cards - through a single and seamless app.

Leveraging proprietary data and AI-driven decisioning, Fundiin matches consumers with the most relevant offers, improving approval rates, user experience, and partner performance. By delivering a fully digital, end-to-end journey, Fundiin enables millions of users to access financial products with greater clarity, confidence, and control.

Fundiin is evolving from a BNPL product into a multi-product consumer financial platform — personal loans, credit cards, and more. As we scale, each new product brings new design challenges: new interaction patterns, new user journeys that need to feel coherent and trustworthy.

Primary focus is the consumer-facing Fundiin app. Merchant and admin portals are secondary surfaces where functional clarity takes priority over visual polish.

As Senior Product Designer, you will own the visual identity and design language of the Fundiin app. You will produce design work where it matters most — defining new patterns, elevating AI-generated output, and setting the quality bar across the platform.

Fundiin operates an AI-native development process — UI is partially generated from product requirements using an established design system. Your role is to review, validate, and elevate AI output against the design language, and define new patterns when the system falls short.

This is a role for a designer who thinks in systems, has strong visual craft, and knows that in financial products, clarity and consistency build user trust more than decoration.

 1. Design Language & System Ownership

• Own and evolve the Fundiin design language — typography, color, spacing, motion, and component patterns — as the product scales from BNPL to multi-product platform.
• Define new design patterns for product categories that do not yet exist in the system — new product onboarding flows, multi-step financial journeys, product switching patterns.
• Maintain and govern the design system on Figma — ensuring components are up to date, well-documented, and consistently applied across the app.
• Proactively identify design debt and inconsistencies — propose and drive improvements before they become user problems.

2. Visual Quality & Consistency

• Set and maintain the visual quality bar — ensuring typography, color, spacing, and component usage are consistent and intentional across every screen
• Ensure every new product and feature is consistent with established patterns and feels like it was always part of the app
• Stay current with design trends in fintech and consumer finance — identify relevant patterns and thoughtfully introduce them into the Fundiin design language
• Ensure UI/UX coherence across all surfaces: consumer app (primary), merchant portal, and admin portal

3. Financial UX & New Product Patterns

• Design interaction patterns for data-heavy financial interfaces — charts, portfolios, transaction histories, risk indicators
• Define interaction patterns, information hierarchy, and user flow structure for each new product category
• Collaborate with business analysts and engineers to understand user needs and translate them into design direction
• Conduct design reviews and usability evaluations to identify gaps and iterate

Must Have

• 4+ years of product design experience, including at least one senior IC or lead role
• Strong design system experience — has built, maintained, or significantly evolved a design system in a product company
• Strong visual craft — typography, color, spacing, and layout decisions that feel intentional; a portfolio that shows depth beyond wireframes and functional UI
• Deep proficiency in Figma — components, variables, auto-layout, prototyping
• Strong mobile-first design experience — deep understanding of iOS and Android patterns, safe areas, gesture navigation, and platform conventions
• Ability to give clear, direct design direction — to AI outputs, to peers, and to stakeholders

Strong Plus

• Experience designing financial products — banking, lending, investment, or payments
• Experience with data visualization and financial dashboard design
• Familiarity with motion design and micro-interaction principles
• Hands-on experience with AI design tools — Figma AI, Claude Design, or equivalent — as part of daily design workflow
• Contributions to or deep knowledge of open design systems (Material, Human Interface Guidelines, etc.)
