- JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Technician – Process Maintenance is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime. This role focuses on timely troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to prevent production losses. The Senior Technician also supports calibration, validation activities, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
2.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on production equipment.
- Update and maintain maintenance documentation in the system.
- Maintain accurate spare parts records and ensure availability.
- Support calibration and validation activities as required.
- Collaborate with production staff to perform maintenance and calibration activities.
- Follow maintenance and safety SOPs and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Escalate complex breakdown issues to engineers or senior engineers when necessary.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures.
- Complete all tasks assigned by the Supervisor in a timely manner.
2.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Three-year college degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field).
Experience
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in using tools and fabrication machines for troubleshooting.
- Effective collaboration with colleagues and contractors.
- Ability to respond promptly and work efficiently under pressure.
- Capability to work in high places using ladders or lifts and in confined spaces for extended periods.
Additional Requirements:
- Certificate in Welding, Lifting/Crane Operation, or Fabrication are preferred.
