We are looking for a Senior Ops Planning Associate – Speed Management to work on solution implementation to continuously improve speed, initiate and manage projects across SPX's large-scale logistics network.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving hard problems, connecting the dots across systems, and exploring ideas then turning into real impact at scale.
Job Description
- Planning and project management
- Speed Target Planning: Lead communication and alignment of annual speed targets and initiative roadmaps with both local and regional stakeholders, ensuring timely execution against business objectives.
- Project Management: Drive cross-functional speed-related projects by coordinating stakeholders (FLM, SOC, transport) to review operations feasibility, align and manage execution plans, and tracking impact to ensure deliver measurable outcomes.
- Network/ COT Optimization: Conduct analysis and review network/ COT proposal to enhance network efficiency, improve speed and service quality.
- Competitive speed intelligence: Monitor competitor performance, identify performance gaps, and explore insights and translate into actionable opportunities to strengthen our advantage or close the gap.
- Network Holiday Planning: Lead holiday planning, to make sure network stability during and post holiday and meet overall customer experience.
- Performance Management & Tracking:
- Act like speed controller for E2E network and assess how the issues may impact network speed performance with each issue happen in network.
- Develop and implement robust metrics and KPIs to track the performance of ongoing projects and the overall effectiveness of specific supply chain functions post-implementation.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret performance data to generate actionable insights and identify areas for further optimization.
- Prepare and present clear, data-driven reports and dashboards on project health and functional performance to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, consulting, analytics, or similar roles.
- Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills, able to break down complex problems and structure clear solutions
- Ability to connect the dots across data, operations, and business context
- Resilient and proactive, comfortable working in a fast-changing environment
- Eager to learn and adaptable, with a strong willingness to challenge existing ways of working and drive change
- Strong analytical mindset with experience working with data
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese to coordinate with stakeholders from across the region.
