Senior MEAN Stack Developer (TypeScript, DevOps)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using NodeJS, ExpressJS, and TypeScript
• Build and optimize Angular web applications (admin panels, dashboards, partner portals)
• Own API design (REST, GraphQL is a plus) and backend architecture
• Work with MongoDB (schema design, performance optimization, indexing)
• Collaborate closely with mobile (iOS/Android), product, and design teams
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and set engineering best practices
• Participate in DevOps and infrastructure decisions (CI/CD, deployments, monitoring)
• Ensure security, performance, and reliability, especially for insurance and health data
• Contribute to system scalability as LivWell expands across markets

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in MEAN stack: MongoDB, Expressjs, Angular, Nodejs, Strong TypeScript experience (non-negotiable)
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
• Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and role-based access
• Strong grasp of system design, data modeling, and performance optimization
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc)
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting
• Understanding of basic security practices (secrets management, HTTPS, IAM, etc)
