DevOps Engineer (relocate to Bangkok)

Job Overview And Responsibility

System Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and manage large-scale systemswith a strong understanding of system architecture and related technologies.

Automation and Configuration Management: Use automation tools such as Ansible,Puppet, Chef, or Terraform to automate processes and manage configurationseffectively.

Infrastructure Management: Utilize Terraform and other tools to manage infrastructure,ensuring system availability and performance.

CI/CD Pipelines: Build and manage CI/CD pipelines integrated with Vault andKubernetes (K8s) to implement complex and optimized GitOps deployments.

Monitoring and Security: Use monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Telegraf,Jaeger, and OpenTelemetry to track system performance and security.

Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS,Azure, and GCP, ensuring applications run efficiently and securely.

Security and Compliance: Ensure security standards are met and implement necessarysecurity measures to protect systems and data.

Support and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuringsmooth workflows and successful project delivery.

Project Task Management: Effectively manage and allocate tasks within projects.

Experiences And Competencies

Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologiessuch as TCP/IP, HTTP/2, HTTP/3, DNS, UDP, and SSH.

Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet,Chef, or Terraform.

System Architecture: Deep understanding of large-scale system design and the abilityto manage complex infrastructure.

Security: Experience in system security and compliance with security standards.

CI/CD Pipelines: Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using toolssuch as Vault and Kubernetes (K8s) for GitOps deployments.

Monitoring: Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Telegraf,Jaeger, and OpenTelemetry.

Cloud: Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud services such asAWS, Azure, and GCP.

Communication Skills: Strong communication and project management skills, with theability to clearly convey ideas and guide stakeholders.

Team Support: Ability to mentor and support team members, with an understanding oftask management and work allocation.

Agile and Scrum: Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies in projectmanagement.

Required Skills and Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or arelated field.

Experience: At least 46 years of experience in a similar role.

Language Skills: Ability to communicate and read English for work purposes andinternational communication.
