Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing strategies to promote upcoming film releases, strengthen brand awareness, and drive box office revenue.
- Lead, manage, and develop the Marketing team, including resource allocation, performance management, coaching, and capability building
- Take ownership of the business performance of each film project
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Cinema, and Distribution teams to ensure smooth execution across all campaigns
- Monitor and analyze the performance of each film title and cinema brand
Marketing & Release Strategy
- Develop and execute integrated 360° marketing strategies for each film project across Digital, PR, Social Media, Events, and Partnerships
- Define tailored strategies for different film categories, including blockbusters, commercial films, and indie/art-house titles
- Lead audience, market, and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities
- Work with senior leadership to define release strategies, including release timing, theater footprint, and distribution channels across Cinema, OTT, and Digital platforms
Campaign, Budget & Performance Management
- Oversee all campaign stages, including Teasing, Launch, Sustaining, and Post-release activities
- Allocate budgets, resources, and media channels effectively to maximize ROI
- Monitor campaign performance in real time and recommend adjustments when needed
- Manage and control marketing budgets for each film project to ensure cost efficiency
Public Relations & Partnerships
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with media, KOLs, influencers, cinema partners, studios, and production companies
- Lead co-marketing and brand partnership initiatives with partners such as MoMo and Zalo
- Collaborate with cinema chains such as CGV, Galaxy Cinema, and Lotte Cinema on ticket promotions, group bookings, giveaways, mini-games, re-screening campaigns, and new cinema launches
- Drive trade marketing activities to increase customer engagement and word-of-mouth impact
Crisis Management
- Develop and implement crisis communication frameworks
- Monitor market sentiment and audience feedback
- Respond quickly to protect the reputation of film projects and the company brand
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Lead the team in analyzing box office performance, audience behavior, and marketing effectiveness
- Consolidate data across media and non-media channels into regular performance reports
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve future campaigns
- Build data systems to support decision-making and evaluate the effectiveness of each film release strategy
Operations & Risk Management
- Oversee agency, vendor, and production house management while ensuring compliance with internal processes and financial policies
- Identify and manage risks related to marketing and communication campaigns
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Strong experience in marketing, brand management, or campaign management, ideally within entertainment, media, cinema, or consumer industries
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple projects
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in film production, movie marketing, cinema operations, or a strong passion for films and the entertainment industry will be highly preferred
