Senior Manager, Legal & Compliance

About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable Legal Senior Manager to oversee and drive our legal and compliance agenda across Vietnam and the region. This is a high-impact individual contributor role where you will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, safeguarding the organization's legal integrity while fostering a strong ethical culture.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping governance frameworks, managing legal risks, and embedding compliance practices across the business.

Legal Leadership

• Lead review and negotiation of non-standard and high-value contracts (sales and procurement).
• Ensure compliance with internal approval policies and mitigate legal risks.
• Oversee corporate governance matters, including board meetings, filings, and statutory compliance.
• Manage litigation and arbitration through external counsel, including debt recovery and dispute resolution.
• Act as the go-to legal advisor for management and cross-functional teams.
• Deliver legal training and drive policy awareness and adoption across the organization.

Ethics & Compliance

• Champion a strong ethical culture and ensure adherence to corporate policies.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs (ethics, conflicts of interest, decision-making).
• Lead and manage investigations into alleged misconduct, ensuring fair and thorough processes.
• Establish and maintain confidential reporting and complaint-handling mechanisms.
• Advise leadership on policy interpretation and compliance risks.

International Trade Compliance (ITC)

• Act as the ITC lead to ensure adherence to international trade regulations.
• Implement ITC policies, communications, and training initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal facility and operational standards.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Law from a reputable university.
• Minimum 7+ years of post-qualification experience in legal and compliance roles.
• Prior experience in a multinational company or leading law firm is highly preferred.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Proven experience in contract drafting and negotiation, Legal advisory and risk management, Compliance program implementation
• Ability to work independently, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex business environments.
