Senior Kotlin Developer (Hybrid/Remote)

Kotlin Developer will be part of a fast growing team of developers to support a range of front end and back end projects for a medium Australian client. You will be working with a small team of senior developers and QA initially to build velocity and support as a foundation team. We work within an Agile SCRUM methodology.

Team size: > 15 (AU and India)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services usingSpring BootandKotlin.
• Build and managemicroservices architecturefor scalability and resilience.
• Work withPostgreSQLfor database design, queries, and optimization.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain services onAWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps, QA) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensurecode quality, security, and performancethrough best practices.

Must have skills and experience:

• Strong hands-on experience withSpring BootandKotlin.
• Proven experience inmicroservices developmentandRESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding ofPostgreSQL(schemas, queries, tuning).
• Experience withAWS services(ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.) is a plus.
• Knowledge ofAzure DevOps CI/CD pipelinesand containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work inagile teams.
• Ability tocommunicate well in Englishwith foreign clients

Prefer if candidate has the following:

- Experience working with foreign companies, in particular Australia

- Experience working in a fast paced agile team

- Is available to travel to Australia where required
