Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- This position as senior engineer will play a key role in product quality control, responsible for setting up or monitoring quality requirements for each phase of new product development; monitor production from materials to finished goods to ensure meet quality control and customer requirements; and continuous driving on production quality improvement and working on RMA reduction.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, prefer majoring in Electrical Engineering, Optics.
- 5+ years of experience similar position, prefer in optical communication or electronic manufacturing industry.
- Experienced in statistical data analysis, JMP or Minitab software required.
- Experience with problem solving with 8D approach.
- Understand quality system and be familiar with ISO9001 or IATF16949.
Skills
- Logic problem solving with data analysis.
- Familiar with FMEA/MSA/SPC and related quality tools.
- Follow through skills on problem solving with root-cause address and continuously improve.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good teamwork sprit and self-driven under pressure.
- Good English spoken and written.
Working Conditions
- Working conditions typical of a climate controlled and professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, etc.
