LOCATION: SEA (Vietnam/Thailand/Indonesia/Malaysia)
Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:
- Support the SVP of Quality/ME and Senior Quality Director in developing the global supplier quality strategy, objectives, and action plans, ensuring that quality KPIs are achieved.
- Manage and supervise the Supplier Quality team, fostering a positive and high-performance working environment.
- Establish, maintain, and optimize supplier qualification and disqualification procedures.
- Manage and maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL) and optimize the supplier base to enhance company competitiveness.
- Lead the Supplier Quality team in conducting regular supplier performance reviews, managing supplier scorecards, and providing recommendations to the Sourcing Council.
- Oversee new factory QMS audits, conduct risk assessments, and drive supplier development initiatives to meet company quality objectives.
- Lead and coordinate with suppliers to ensure SharkNinja quality requirements are clearly understood and to manage significant quality issues throughout the product lifecycle.
- Drive the development of a strong quality culture among suppliers, focused on continuous improvement in all aspects of performance.
- Facilitate, coordinate, and lead suppliers in driving continuous product quality improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers and SharkNinja internal teams to achieve 99% FPY and maximum output on Day 1 of mass production.
- Work closely with the Boston and China QA/Testing teams to implement Product Safety, Customer Returns, and Customer Experience initiatives at supplier facilities.
What We Expect:
- Over 8 years of experience in quality management or related disciplines, with strong expertise in quality systems and supplier quality management.
- Strong quality systems mindset/ negotiation skills/ Problem-solving skills/ Data analysis and issue resolution skills
- Sampling inspection knowledge and experience
- Preparation and presentation of quality reports
- Fluent in written and spoken English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Assess, coach, and monitor the development of team members and suppliers.
- Ability to work independently.
- High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
- Strong ethical standards and professional conduct.
Education/Certifications/Affiliations
- Bachelor's degree or above in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiar with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 (formerly TS 16949), with experience independently leading system implementation and certification.
- Lead Auditor Certification
- Proficient in the application of the 7 Quality Tools, SPC, MSA, PFMEA, APQP, and PPAP
- Supplier qualification, assessment and development.
