Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Support software deployment processes by building and maintaining reliable CI/CD pipelines for seamless releases.
• Continuously monitor production environments, troubleshoot incidents, and implement preventive improvements.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure system quality, stability, and successful application deployments.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, provide regular status updates, and deliver accurate task estimations.
• Report to the Engineering Lead while proactively adopting modern DevOps technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar positions.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Practical expertise with AWS services, including compute, networking, container platforms, storage, IAM, and messaging/streaming solutions.
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters and implementing infrastructure automation, CI/CD workflows, and deployment strategies.
• Excellent analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills, with experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience with event-driven systems or real-time streaming technologies such as Kafka, Redpanda, or comparable platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud-native secrets management and secure configuration practices.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, including ingress controllers, DNS management, TLS, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Experience implementing observability solutions covering metrics collection, centralized logging, tracing, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) concepts across distributed cloud environments.
• Previous experience working with globally distributed or multicultural engineering teams.
• Exposure to highly regulated or high-volume transaction industries, including fintech, banking, insurance, or payment platforms.
• Understanding of modern distributed architectures, including microservices and modular or component-based frontend ecosystems.
