Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong consulting capability, architectural thinking, and direct collaboration with US-based clients and cross-functional engineering teams. The ideal candidate combines deep cloud expertise with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of modern software delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Engineering

Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP

Architect highly available systems aligned with cloud best practices

Implement networking, IAM, storage, compute, and security controls

Optimize infrastructure for performance, resilience, and cost efficiency

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Develop and maintain infrastructure using: Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation, ARM / Bicep

Establish reusable modules and enforce version-controlled infrastructure standards

Promote automated provisioning and immutable infrastructure patterns

CI/CD & Automation

Design and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using tools such as: BitBucket (preferred), GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps

Implement automated build, test, release, and deployment strategies

Improve release velocity while maintaining system reliability

Containerization & Kubernetes

Build and manage containerized environments using Docker

Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE) (nice to have)

Implement GitOps and platform engineering practices

Manage Helm charts and Kubernetes configuration (nice to have)

DevSecOps & Observability

Integrate security scanning and compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks

Support incident response and root cause analysis

Ensure governance and best practices across cloud environments

Client Collaboration

Engage directly with US-based clients and stakeholders

Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution workshops

Translate business requirements into technical designs

Mentor engineers and contribute to technical strategy

Required Qualifications

4-5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or related roles

Strong hands-on experience with at least two major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred)

Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and automation

Experience with containerization and Kubernetes

Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and IAM concepts

Experience working in Agile software development environments

Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken)- Comfortable leading meetings and technical discussions with US-based clients and colleagues

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)

Experience in digital consultancy or client-facing delivery roles

Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments

Knowledge of platform engineering or Internal Developer Platforms (IDP)

Exposure to FinOps and cost optimization strategies
