Job Description:
- Implementing Database DevOps solutions on- premises and on cloud as AWS, Oracle Cloud
- Execute DBA operation checklist and resolve database requests following database standard and bank policy.
- Responsible for the database performance, housekeeping tasks, integrity, and security of database. Work closely with the IT Infra
- System/Network/Storage and DevOps Teams, AM/PM to assist in database related duties (maintenance, upgrades, and system assessment)
- Working with development, QA, and operations teams to automate the build, test, and deploy process
- Participate in written/update database procedure documents
- Proposing cost-effective solutions, optimization, and stability
- Review database changes/ all related documents for DevOps applications in charge
Educational Background
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relater fields.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of database experience (MySQL, NoSQL Redis/MongoDB, PostgreSQL and/or Oracle/MSSQL ), in addition to educational requirements
- 2+ years experience in Cloud platform, NoSQL system management (Redis, Elastisearch, MongoDB/ NoSQL system)
- Extensive experience in Public clouds, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with MySQL, PostgresQL, Redshift And/Or XML/Mongo/NoSQL technology (Redis, Elastisearch, MongoDB/ NoSQL system) And/Or Oracle/SQL
- Experience with BigData, Data streaming technology as Kafka is preferred.
- Knowledge of OS as Windows Server, Linux, AIX
- Experience with DB monitoring tool as Oracle cloud EM, Grafana
- Experience automating routine tasks and performance and log analysis.
- Experience with migrations and upgrades
- SQL tuning and database performance assessments
- Source code control (Git, SVN, etc)
- Database Performance Tuning/Troubleshooting
- Ensuring availability as HA, DC/DR (Active-Active, Active/Passive)
- Backups and Disaster Recovery
