About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join Masan's Centralized Data & Analytics team, playing a key role in the Group's data-driven transformation journey.
This role focuses on Replenishment, Supply Chain, and Retail/FMCG analytics, supporting decision-making across multiple member companies within Masan's ecosystem.
You will work closely with business stakeholders (Supply Chain, Commercial, Operations) across subsidiaries, as well as Data Engineers and Data Scientists in the central platform team, to translate complex business problems into scalable analytical insights and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and model replenishment, inventory, and demand data across multiple business domains and channels (Retail, FMCG, Supply Chain, E-commerce, Distribution).
- Partner with business stakeholders across Masan group companies to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights supporting replenishment optimization.
- Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and analytical models to track inventory health and replenishment performance.
- Identify key drivers impacting stock availability, demand variability, and inventory efficiency; propose data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to define data requirements, validate data pipelines, and contribute to analytical data marts.
- Define, standardize, and monitor replenishment and supply chain KPIs (e.g., OSA, OOS, DOS, forecast accuracy).
- Support data governance, data quality checks, and business documentation for centralized data assets.
- Contribute to automation and advanced analytics initiatives (e.g., predictive replenishment, forecasting enhancement).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics roles within FMCG, Retail, Supply Chain, or related business domains.
- Hands-on experience working with business stakeholders in complex, large-scale organizations or multi-domain environments.
- Solid understanding of replenishment, inventory planning, or supply chain analytics.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
- Experience using Python or R for data analysis is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks) is an advantage.
- Good English communication skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional and potentially regional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data insights into clear business recommendations.
Preferred Background
- Previous experience in FMCG/Retail or Supply Chain analytics teams.
- Understanding of end-to-end replenishment processes from demand forecasting to warehouse and store-level allocation.
- Exposure to advanced analytics or collaboration with Data Science teams on forecasting or optimization models.
