About team:
The infrastructure team at SPX Express is responsible for end-to-end project management of new Sorting Center setups nationwide from site assessment and construction supervision to operational handover. The team also oversees the installation and optimization of automated sorting machines (ASM) to enhance operational efficiency and ensure technical standards in logistics execution.
Job description:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and manage end-to-end implementation.
- Lead projects related to automation, such as Auto Sorting Machines, and research new sorting technologies for deployment.
- Track project metrics, progress, and tasks to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor potential risks, issues, and opportunities to support effective decision-making.
- Analyze data and forecasts to identify bottlenecks and develop long-term optimization solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on changes and project plans.
- Plan and manage resources effectively, ensuring availability and optimal utilization.
- Support additional tasks or responsibilities as delegated by the Line Manager.
Job requirements:
- Min 4+ years of experience in project management, preferably in PMO or technical roles.
- Background in automation machinery or infrastructure projects; knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems is a plus.
- Proficient in project tools (e.g., AutoCAD); experience in logistics or e-logistics is an advantage.
- Strong in stakeholder management, analytics, and decision-making.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus.
- Able to multitask, work under shifting priorities, and adapt to fast-changing environments.
- Willing to travel frequently for on-site work and coordination.
