Position Overview

ODK Media is seeking a Senior Associate, Ad Operations & Demand Partnerships to own and scale our advertising operations in Vietnam. This is a technically grounded, hands-on role for an ad ops professional who has built and managed programmatic infrastructure — and who also brings direct experience identifying, connecting, and activating demand partners in the market.

The core of this role is operational excellence: owning the ad-tech stack, managing end-to-end campaign execution, and ensuring flawless programmatic delivery across our CTV and OTT inventory. On top of that foundation, the right candidate will independently develop and manage demand partnerships — focusing on programmatic DSP relationships, agency connections, and direct advertiser engagement — to drive consistent revenue growth in the Vietnam market.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ad Tech & Platform Operations (Primary Focus)
  • Own the ad-tech stack: Configure, manage, and optimize Google Ad Manager (GAM) and SpringServe for all Vietnam market inventory.
  • Inventory & yield management: Set up ad units, pricing rules, deal structures, and yield optimization strategies across programmatic and direct-sold channels.
  • Technical troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve delivery discrepancies, pacing issues, latency problems, and reporting mismatches with urgency and precision.
  • Programmatic infrastructure: Configure SSP/DSP integrations, header bidding setups, and deal IDs (PMP, programmatic guaranteed) in coordination with global tech teams.
  • Data & reporting: Build and maintain dashboards and performance reports using Excel, SQL, and BI tools. Deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders and partners.
  • End-to-End Campaign Management
  • Full campaign lifecycle: Own campaign setup, trafficking, QA, pacing, optimization, and final reporting for all Vietnam market campaigns.
  • Performance delivery: Ensure campaigns meet delivery targets, pacing benchmarks, and client KPIs — proactively flagging and resolving issues before they escalate.
  • Client & partner communication: Serve as the operational point of contact for agency and advertiser partners on active campaigns.
  • Process & documentation: Build scalable operational workflows and internal documentation to support team growth.
  • Programmatic Demand Partnerships

While this role is operationally anchored, demand partnership development is a core responsibility — specifically within the programmatic ecosystem. We are looking for someone who has built real relationships with DSPs, trading desks, and programmatic-first agencies, and who can activate those connections to drive revenue on our platform.

  • DSP & programmatic partnerships: Identify, pitch, and activate programmatic demand partners — including DSPs (The Trade Desk, DV360, and regional platforms), trading desks, and programmatic agencies — to drive spend on ODK's Vietnam inventory.
  • Deal structuring: Develop and manage PMP deals, programmatic guaranteed arrangements, and preferred deal structures with demand partners.
  • Agency & brand outreach: Build and maintain relationships with media agencies and brand-direct advertisers in the Vietnam market to develop direct-sold and programmatic demand pipelines.
  • Revenue development: Work with global leadership to set and execute against Vietnam revenue targets across programmatic and direct channels.
  • Partner activation: Translate technical platform capabilities (SSP features, audience targeting, deal structures) into compelling partner pitches — closing the gap between ops knowledge and commercial conversations.

4. Market Ownership & Regional Operations

  • Single point of contact: Act as the primary operational and commercial owner for all advertising activity in the Vietnam market.
  • Vendor & platform management: Manage relationships with ad-tech vendors, measurement providers, and platform partners to maintain system reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Market intelligence: Monitor the Vietnamese programmatic and CTV landscape — tracking competitive activity, demand trends, DSP adoption, and emerging partnership opportunities.
  • Local compliance: Ensure all operations align with Vietnamese advertising regulations and ODK's global standards.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with global Product, Analytics, and Sales teams to align local execution with global platform standards and roadmap.
  • Feed Vietnam market insights back to global leadership to inform product development, pricing strategy, and supply partnerships.
  • Contribute to scalable operational frameworks that can be replicated across other markets.

Requirements

Position Requirements

Required

  • Experience: 5+ years in digital advertising with a strong emphasis on ad operations, programmatic platform management, or ad-tech. Direct experience in CTV or OTT environments preferred.
  • Ad Tech Platforms: Hands-on, expert-level experience with Google Ad Manager (GAM) and SpringServe is required. These are day-one tools for this role.
  • Programmatic Demand Experience: Demonstrated experience identifying, connecting with, and activating programmatic demand partners — DSPs, trading desks, or programmatic-first agencies. Must be able to articulate this experience clearly with specific examples.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one BI tool (Looker, Tableau, or equivalent). Comfortable building reporting frameworks from scratch.
  • Independence: Proven ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with limited local management oversight.
  • Languages: Business-level English (written and verbal) required. Vietnamese fluency strongly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CTV/OTT platforms, smart TV ecosystems, or FAST channels.
  • Existing network within the Vietnamese advertising, agency, or programmatic ecosystem.
  • SSP/DSP platform experience: Familiarity with major demand-side platforms such as The Trade Desk, DV360, MediaMath, or regional Vietnamese DSPs.

The ideal candidate is an ad operations professional first — someone who is deeply comfortable inside GAM and SpringServe, who can diagnose a delivery issue before it becomes a client problem, and who thinks in terms of systems, data, and optimization.

You have worked with programmatic demand partners before — DSPs, trading desks, agencies — and you know how to open doors, structure deals, and keep relationships warm. You do not need to be a seasoned sales executive, but you do need to be able to represent our platform credibly in a commercial conversation.
