We are now looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee and manage all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across our services and projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle: bookkeeping, reconciliations, monthly/annual closings, and reporting.
- Oversee partner financial processes: reconciliation of COD remittances, partner billing, settlement of penalties, and service fees.
- Handle client financial processes: invoices, postpaid account tracking, deposits, and balance management.
- Monitor and report on banking activities: deposits, withdrawals, and direct payments.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop internal financial policies and controls for COD remittance, deposits, top-ups, and auto-debits.
- Work with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as required.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to management for decision-making.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 35 years of professional accounting/finance experience, preferably in logistics or tech startups.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS) and familiarity with IFRS are advantages.
- Hands-on experience with banking, invoicing, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Perfect communication skills in Vietnamese and working proficiency in English.
