Description
- Perform and review the accounting work for the preparation of financial statements following VAS/ IFRS and other required reports in a timely and accurate manner;
- Prepare and review all statutory tax declarations i.e., VAT, PIT, CIT, FCT, and other tax matters related.
- Prepare and review payroll for local and foreign employees, including calculation and declaration for PIT, SI, HI, UI
- Ensure that the accounting, tax, and advisory services provided to clients are at the highest level of tax effectiveness, compliant with Vietnam's current laws and regulations, as well as compatible with clients internal practices.
- Work with independent auditors during the audit process and other third parties i.e., tax, customs, social insurance, suppliers, etc., on behalf of clients if required
- Maintain good communication with clients, answer their questions, and advise them on tax and accounting compliance and effectiveness;
- Identify significant issues/risks from the daily transactions of the client's activities, timely raise the issues, and propose solutions to the clients
Profile
- Certified graduate in finance/accounting from a reputable Vietnamese university
- Vietnam tax agent qualification (including sufficient evidence of practice) OR Vietnam CPA qualification (including sufficient evidence of practice)
- Minimum 3+ years of work experience in accounting and tax practices for business process outsourcing or professional accounting services firms
- Proven experience as a team or project manager in an accounting services or consulting firm with international clients is a big plus
- Proficient in prevalent accounting software (i.e., Xero, Misa, Fast, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
- Exceptional oral and written skills (in English and Vietnamese)
- Extraordinary professionalism, dedication, integrity, and trustworthiness
- Proven ability to multitask under high pressure, and to complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
