Job Summary:
This position is for KOREAN employees based in Hanoi, responsible for the field sales of the entire portfolio of Cognex products. This is a sales role for Korean customers in Vietnam. The Senior ASE will work closely with the Area Sales Manager to develop account strategies and tactics. The Senior ASE will be responsible for meeting or exceeding a defined quota at assigned or newly found accounts and expanding our base of business. The employee will embody the core values of Cognex including Work Hard, Play Hard, and Move Fast. Additional tasks will be assigned as needed by the manager.
Job Description:
Essential Functions:
- Properly forecast and close vision solutions opportunities with Korean End Users.
- Utilize the Cognex sales process to effectively demonstrate products to customers and win large strategic opportunities.
- Build Korean customer network and follow up on sales leads and schedule customer visits, seeking out large opportunities.
- Effectively conducts customer visits in a solution sales environment.
- Collaborate with counterparts/sales colleagues on opportunities that are either integrated or installed in a different territory or where the Korean decision makers locate.
- Follow up on Korean customer inquiries, understand system requirements, and differentiate the Cognex solution.
- Assists at trade shows and other marketing events.
- Coordinate technical evaluations utilizing the Applications Engineering team.
- Maintain and continuously update project information in Sales Book.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven track record of sales performance in the automation or similar industry.
- Proven track record of operating in a solutions sales environment.
- PC literate with a working knowledge of MS Windows applications.
- Ability to work independently is required.
- English communication capability basic level
Minimum Education and Work Experience required:
- Technical/ Business Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven sales experience and a good track record in Vietnam is required.
- Experience in selling technical products to all levels of an organization is required.
- Experience in selling vision products is also preferred.
