Job Description

Position Summary: The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security operations of the facility, ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and company assets. This role involves supervising security personnel, enforcing security policies, responding to incidents, and coordinating with law enforcement when necessary. The Security Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a secure and orderly environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily security operations, ensuring all security procedures are followed.
  • Monitor security personnel to ensure proper coverage of the property, including entrances, exits, gaming areas, and restricted zones.
  • Conduct regular security patrols and inspections to detect and prevent potential security threats.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, including disturbances, theft, unauthorized access, or emergency situations.
  • Ensure compliance with company security policies, local regulations, and gaming laws.
  • Investigate security breaches, employee misconduct, and guest complaints, preparing detailed incident reports.
  • Assist in training and mentoring Security Officers, ensuring they are knowledgeable in emergency response protocols and company policies.
  • Operate and oversee security systems, including access control, alarms, and surveillance support.
  • Act as a liaison with law enforcement, emergency responders, and regulatory agencies when necessary.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding security operations, investigations, and internal matters.
  • Support emergency response planning, including evacuation procedures and crisis management.
  • Provide guidance to security personnel on handling difficult situations professionally and effectively.

Requirement:

  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with security systems, including access control, alarm monitoring, and surveillance support.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of local security laws, gaming regulations, and company policies.
  • Leadership Ability: Experience supervising security teams and providing on-the-job training.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess security threats quickly and take appropriate action.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for reporting and team coordination.
  • Integrity & Confidentiality: High ethical standards with the ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
