Role Description:
As a
Security Engineer at TechX, you will play a mission-critical role in shaping and delivering secure cloud solutions for Vietnams largest banks and enterprises.
You&aposll work directly with technical teams and stakeholders to implement secure-by-design systems, lead security best practices. The ideal candidate combines deep security expertise, strong communication skills, and a consultative mindset to bridge technical security with real-world enterprise needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Projects Security
- Conduct security assessments, audits, and penetration testing across regulated industries
- Develop and operationalize compliance frameworks
- Lead security best practices
- Create detailed security documentation, runbooks, and handover materials
Internal Security
- Maintain TechXs cloud security across all client project environments
- Build and manage incident response playbooks, security monitoring, and escalation workflows
- Manage identity access and infrastructure controls across Hanoi and HCMC teams
- Ensure TechX meets AWS Partner security standards and audit requirements
Business Impact
- Assess security needs and recommend solutions
- Support proposal writing with security architecture designs and compliance responses
- Collaborate to develop security service offerings, SLAs, and pricing models
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years total, with at least 3 years in security roles ideally in financial services, enterprise tech, or cloud consulting
- Led end-to-end security implementation (bonus)
- AWS Certified Security is a plus
- AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, AWS Config, WAF (or similar)
- Hands-on with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and Vietnamese data protection laws
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for security-as-code
- VPC, security groups, NACLs, VPNs, Direct Connect
- DevSecOps: Secure CI/CD practices and toolchain integration
- Sector knowledge: Banking and enteprise preferred
