I. Job Description:
We are seekinga Senior ScrumMaster to lead Agile practicesacross one or multiple development teams.
This role goes beyond facilitating Scrum events the Senior Scrum Master acts as an Agile coach, change agent,and servant leader,driving continuous improvement at both teamand organizational levels.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in scaling Agile, coaching maturity, and resolving systemic impediments, while maintaining hands-on involvement with delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and continuously improve all Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective.
- Act as a servant leader and Agile coach, enabling teams to become highly self-organized and accountable.
- Identify, manage, and help remove team-level and organizational impediments.
- Coach Product Owners and teams on effective backlog management, Sprint Goals, and refinement practices.
- Drive continuous improvement using data-driven Agile metrics (velocity trends, cycle time, predictability).
- Foster transparency, collaboration, and Agile mindset across teams and stakeholders.
- Support cross-team coordination and dependency management in multi-team environments.
- Mentor and support Junior/Middle Scrum Masters when applicable.
II. Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Scrum; solid understanding of Kanban and Agile principles.
- Proven ability to coach teams beyond basic Scrum practices.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, Product).
- Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking mindset.
- Experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English in a technical context.
Nice to Have
- Scrum certifications: PSM II/III, CSM, or equivalent.
- Experience coaching multiple teams or working in scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
- Background in product-based companies, fintech, or high-traffic systems.
- Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
- Agile coaching or leadership-related certifications.
