Job Description

Job Description:

  • Lead and overseeing SPX Express operations across all division in Sarawak region including but not limited to Linehaul - transport, Sorting Centers - warehouses and Last Mile - delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Analyze operational data, including performance metrics, and process workflows, to identify areas of growth and efficiency initiatives improvement across Sarawak region.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operations performance, ensuring the highest cost efficiency, area performance, and people capability and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and regulatory authorities, to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement.
  • Capable of reporting and forecasting, planning operation outputs across Sarawak region.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • Legally allowed to work in Sabah / Sarawak based on respective state law requirements
  • Candidates currently based in Sabah / Sarawak are encouraged to apply.
  • Diploma / Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines is advantageous
  • More than 10 years of total work experience focusing on logistics operations, or related fields.
  • Strong leadership & managerial skills to manage big teams and drive collaboration and synergy across different teams
  • Good communication and presentation skills, able to communicate with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous situations
  • Fast learner, comfortable with a dynamic environment
  • Working pattern: 45 working hours weekly
  • Working location: Kuching, Sarawak
