Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant to lead and support critical SAP MM implementations, enhancements, and ongoing support activities. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in procurement, inventory management, and vendor processes, with strong configuration skills in SAP MM and integration experience across other SAP modules. Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments and strong collaboration skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end SAP MM implementations, enhancements, and support projects.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements related to procurement, inventory, and vendor management.
- Design, configure, and deploy SAP MM solutions in line with industry and SAP best practices.
- Develop functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate closely with ABAP developers.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams including SD, PP, FI, and WM consultants for integrated solutions.
- Handle incident resolution, change requests, and support activities within agreed SLAs.
- Conduct workshops, deliver end-user training, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems as required.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including configuration guides, test scripts, and user manuals.
- Provide post-go-live support to ensure system stability and user satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with SAP MM, including full lifecycle implementations.
- Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, vendor evaluation, and MRP processes.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with SAP Fiori apps.
- Proficiency in cross-module integration with SD, PP, FI, and WM.
- Ability to create functional documentation and work with technical teams on custom developments.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a global team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP MM certification is an added advantage
- Experience in Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies
- Exposure to tools like Solution Manager, JIRA, or ServiceNow
