We are looking for a Senior SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP MM processes across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and inventory operations. You will partner with business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, drive continuous improvement, and support successful implementations and rollouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering, process mapping, and solution design for SAP MM (Purchasing, Inventory Management, MRP interface, Invoice Verification).
- Configure and enhance MM objects: material master, vendor master, purchasing info records, source lists, pricing conditions, release strategies, and account determination.
- Integrate MM with FI/CO, SD, PP, WM/EWM, QM; coordinate end-to-end testing and defect resolution.
- Support projects through full lifecycle: blueprint, build, SIT/UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and stabilization.
- Develop functional specifications for enhancements, forms, reports, workflows, and interfaces; collaborate with ABAP/technical teams.
- Drive data migration support (LSMW/other tools), master data governance, and process controls.
- Provide production support: incident triage, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and continuous improvement.
- Create documentation (BRD/FS, config rationales, SOPs) and deliver user training/change management support.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of SAP MM consulting experience (implementation + support).
- Strong knowledge of P2P, inventory movements, valuation, and procurement controls.
- Experience with integration points and cross-functional process design.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with S/4HANA, Fiori, EDI/Ariba, EWM, and SAP Activate methodology.
- SAP certification in MM and exposure to regulated/complex environments.
