Job Description
- Work with architects, functional consultants, and analysts to deliver overall value to the customer with Salesforce as the core solution.
- Interpret technical requirements, actively own and execute work items to complete desired functionalities.
- Propose alternative solutions based on your experience and team input, where applicable.
- Develop automation using Apex and custom user interfaces using LWC, OmniScript, or Visualforce.
- Collaborate with functional team members to customise objects, including object creation, page layouts, fields, record types, etc., as appropriate.
- Follow established technical governance and best practices in all development work.
- Contribute to technical documentation such as technical specifications.
- Participate actively in all activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Promptly assist in the resolution of identified bugs.
- Proactively identify development and technical risks, propose mitigation plans, and flag them to the team.
Requirements
- Demonstrated capability in Salesforce development (typically gained through at least 2 years of relevant experience).
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator.
- Experience writing Apex classes, triggers, LWC, and Visualforce.
- Understanding of project lifecycle.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, release management, and integration is preferred.
- Ability to work within agreed timelines.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
