Job Description

At CJ Foods Vietnam, the Sales Strategy Manager (GT) leads the development of mid-to-long-term strategies for the General Trade channel, driving sustainable growth through data-driven decision-making, optimized trade investments, and effective sales operating models. This role acts as a strategic partner to commercial teams, shaping sales direction, improving execution frameworks, and unlocking channel potential.

Responsibilities

1. GT Strategy & Growth Leadership

• Define and drive GT channel strategy aligned with business objectives and market dynamics

• Shape sales structure, channel development priorities, and growth roadmap

• Translate market, shopper, and performance insights into strategic recommendations

2. Sales Performance & Investment Effectiveness

• Lead planning of sales targets, trade investment, and resource allocation frameworks

• Drive continuous improvement in sales performance, KPI systems, and incentive schemes

• Ensure effectiveness and optimization of trade spending and sales operations

3. Commercial Planning & Cross-functional Alignment

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Supply Chain to align commercial plans

• Provide strategic direction to ensure consistency between brand, channel, and sales execution

• Support resolution of key business challenges impacting GT performance

4. Business Insights & Strategic Control

• Oversee sales forecasting, performance tracking, and business reporting

• Provide actionable insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and channel dynamics

• Drive fact-based decision-making across commercial teams

Authority & Impact

• Influence sales targets, KPIs, and channel strategies across GT

• Advise on trade investment allocation and salesforce structure

• Contribute to key commercial and strategic decision-making forums

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields

• 5+ years in Trade Marketing / GT Sales / Sales Strategy (FMCG)

• Strong strategic thinking with proven business impact

• Solid analytical and stakeholder management skills

• Result-oriented, resilient, and proactive

• Good command of English
