Job Description

About the Client

Our client is an international company in the sports and lifestyle industry from Singapore. As the business establishes its local presence, the company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to build and lead the sales team. The role will be responsible for sporting goods, with a focus on football and lifestyle products, as well as supporting the launch and introduction of new products into the Vietnamese market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage wholesale and retail customer accounts in the South of Vietnam.
  • Work closely with sales teams to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Analyse market trends & plan ahead to forecast sales for the region assigned.
  • Develop dealer and distributor networks.
  • Identify potential opportunities for further business.
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and product developments in this space.
  • Maintain good long-term relations with key customers to increase market share.
  • Ensure timely payment by customers and monitor customer growth potentials.
  • Liaise efficiently and cooperatively with warehouses, accounts and affiliates.
  • Assist and participate in trade fairs.

Requirements

  • Education Qualifications: Diploma / Degree in Business Administration / Sales and Marketing are highly preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of total experience of which minimum 2 years in sales distribution, preferably in a sporting goods/ apparel/ footwear industry.
  • Outstanding sales record with high sales activity.
  • Aggressive, independent, self-motivated and customer – oriented individual.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Working experience in MS office, Excel & Word.
