We Are Hiring: Sales Manager – Electronics, SEA
Vietnam / Singapore / Thailand
We are looking for an experienced and forwardthinking Sales Manager – Electronics (SEA) to lead our SEA Electronics business and drive strategic growth across Southeast Asia, with a strong focus on Vietnam and Thailand. In this leadership role, you will guide the SEA Electronics sales team, build strong customer partnerships, leverage global resources, and shape our strategy in one of the fastestgrowing Electronics hubs in the world.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Market Direction
- Formulate short and midterm plans for the Electronics business in SEA.
- Provide accurate weekly, quarterly, and annual sales and margin forecasts.
- Support demand planning to ensure timely supply while optimizing logistics and stock levels.
- Define KPIs and strategic objectives to support business growth and team performance.
2. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute business strategies to strengthen market and geographical penetration in key Electronics segments such as handheld devices, wearables, laptops, and data storage.
- Identify growth opportunities and lead a structured approach to converting them into results.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams (R&D, Product Management, North America, China, Asia Pacific) to implement global projects in SEA.
- Build a strong external network across the regional Electronics value chain.
- Support customer specin and new product introduction processes when required.
3. Sales Leadership & Key Account Management
- Lead the SEA Electronics sales team in engaging OEMs, OES, ODMs, Converters, FATPs, and other valuechain partners.
- Strengthen relationships with existing and prospective customers and ensure worldclass service delivery.
- Establish seniorlevel relationships across key accounts in SEA.
- Monitor KPIs and ensure project pipelines and timely project closure.
- Drive bestinclass CRM usage and data quality.
- Develop pricing strategies together with SEA Management and Regional Marketing.
- Utilize digital tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to improve transparency, lead generation, and customer mapping.
4. Reporting & Transparency
- Provide timely and transparent reports on business performance, market developments, and key projects.
- Ensure CRM data accuracy and consistent updates from the team.
- Consolidate SEA reporting on market segments, borderless business, and team progress.
5. Organization & People Development
- Lead, inspire, and coach the Electronics sales team across SEA.
- Assess team capabilities and ensure training and development to support business needs.
- Promote open communication, collaboration, and the sharing of best practices.
- Support talent development and succession planning within the region.
- Collaborate closely in a matrix structure with the Head of BU Electronics and General Manager, SEA.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent.
- Technical background (Engineering/Chemical) is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the Electronics industry, including 2–3 years in leadership roles.
- Strong experience in specin processes, key account management, and regional sales.
- Strong understanding of the Southeast Asia Electronics market and industry trends.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
- Experience with CRM tools and MS Office; experience in matrix organizations is beneficial.
- Solid background in management reporting.
