Research IFRS standards that impact VPBank and its subsidiaries; develop, update, and maintain IFRS-based accounting policies and operational guidelines.
Provide IFRS-related advisory services to relevant departments within the Bank and its subsidiaries.
System Operations (Kondor, SAP, etc.)
Review accounting documents and control IFRS book entries.
Oversee system operations; identify improvement areas and lead implementation initiatives.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Lead the preparation of IFRS financial statements.
Analyze financial accounting data.
People Development
Guide and develop a team; provide on-the-job training.
Proactively propose and deliver relevant professional training courses.
II. Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant disciplines such as Accounting, Auditing, Economics, etc. Nationality Requirement: This position is open to Vietnamese citizens only.
Experience
At least 10 years of experience in accounting or auditing within banks or financial institutions.
Preferably experienced in IFRS implementation, accounting policy development, system operation and control, and financial statement preparation in the banking sector. Experience managing a team of 3–5 members.
Professional Knowledge:
Strong accounting knowledge, data reconciliation skills, and financial analysis capabilities.
Good understanding of banking operations and products. In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards, especially those relevant to banking (IFRS 9, IFRS 7, etc.); solid understanding of VAS.
Proficient in MS Office and English; coding experience (SQL, Python, etc.) is a plus.
