CMES Vietnam is part of the renowned CMES (China Machinery Exhibition Series)under HUAMO Group, with over 22 years of proven success in organizing large-scale industrial exhibitions across major Chinese manufacturing hubs, including Shanghai, Dongguan, Suzhou, Ningbo, Foshan, and Xi'an.

CMES Vietnam focuses on machine tools, smart manufacturing, automation, robotics, and industrial supply chains, serving as a key business platform connecting global suppliers with Vietnam and Southeast Asia's fast-growing manufacturing market.

Following the strong performance of CMES Vietnam 2025, we are expanding our local sales team and are now looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive exhibitor acquisition and long-term market growth.

Role Description

We are seeking an Exhibition Events Sales Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Hanoi. Responsibilities include managing and executing event sales strategies, identifying potential clients, overseeing the planning and management of exhibition events, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role requires working closely with clients, collaborating with internal teams, and maintaining strong communication throughout the sales and event implementation process. The Exhibition Events Sales Manager will also monitor market trends and identify opportunities to expand CMES's presence in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of exhibitor sales for CMES Vietnam, with a strong focus on machine tools, automation, robotics, and related industrial sectors
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed booth sales revenue targets
  • Identify, approach, and convert local and international exhibitors, including manufacturers, distributors, and solution providers
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, industry partners, and associations
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, pitching, negotiation, contract signing, and payment follow-up
  • Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to align sales activities with visitor promotion and show positioning
  • Monitor market trends, competitor exhibitions, and customer feedback to continuously optimize sales approaches
  • Represent CMES Vietnam in industry meetings, networking events, and partner visits when required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in exhibitions, B2B events, industrial trade shows, or related industries
  • Proven track record in exhibitor sales or sponsorship sales
  • A strong understanding of the manufacturing, machine tool, automation, or industrial equipment market is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with regional and international teams
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written); Chinese language skills are a strong advantage
