Main Tasks:
- Generate and maintain a portfolio of trading + prospective customers (targets to define upon start)
- Maintain an active opportunity pipeline to meet and exceed targets, and ensure it is entered into the system
- Ensure accurate and timely entries and maintenance of high-quality information on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Have a clear understanding and knowledge of DHL products and services
- Be aware of market developments and competition
- Make competitive proposals to customers and convert them in favor of DHL. Wins, retains, and develops medium-sized Business Customers (Gross Profit of EUR10K-150K) per annum
- Build rapport and trust with customers by being informed about customers business and the market. Assesses the type and size of customer needs
- Collect relevant customer information for the Request for Information (RFI)/ Request for Proposal (RFP)/ Request for Quotation (RFQ) and prepare documents for customer implementation to ensure proper operational handover and implementation to meet customer expectations, following Service-Level Agreement (SLA) & Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Use networks within the various Sales channels within DHL to collaborate on customers marketing strategies and offer a full supply chain of services to serve customer needs.
Requirements:
- COMPULSORY: Student (NOT a fresh graduate and still be student for at least 6 months) who can work full-time from Monday to Friday for 8 months, 1-2 off-sessions per week for the study is acceptable
- Good English skills (both speaking and writing)
- Proven commercial mindset
- Can-do attitude, hard-working and enthusiastic
- Good administrative skills, results-driven and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities
- Ability to work effectively, independently and in a Team environment.
- Basic business skills
- Experience with MS Office e.g. Outlook; experience with CRM tools preferred
