Job Description

A. OVERALL

The Sales Director is a senior leadership role responsible for developing strategy and overseeing all international commercial activities to drive sustainable growth and expand the company's global presence. The role includes executing business strategies, managing customer portfolios, and optimizing financial performance. This position requires strategic vision, strong leadership capabilities, and commercial acumen to accelerate the company's growth in global markets.

B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for driving sustainable growth and expanding international sales presence. developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve business targets.
  • Develop a high-performing international sales team through coaching, leadership, SMART goal setting, and constructive performance reviews.
  • Plan and execute sales activities based on a solid understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Build and execute account plans that drive sustainable business growth.
  • Implement a disciplined sales forecasting process to ensure accuracy for business planning.
  • Monitor market competitive pricing with the objective of optimizing sales margins.
  • Develop/manage international sales & operating budget.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade events, and exhibitions to promote the brand and products.
  • Collaborate closely with finance, legal, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • Proactively propose effective solutions to issues that impact export procedures and activities.
  • Other tasks as assigned by line manager

C. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Trade or a related field.
  • Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in international business, including a at least 5 years in a senior executive role. Experienced in the rice/rice flour sector, OEM and R&D within large-scale companies.
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies aligned with Company's overall business objectives, particularly in the FMCG sector. Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive forces to support strategic decision-making.
  • Capability to lead, inspire, and manage change within a fast-paced FMCG environment. Ensure the team is equipped to adapt to emerging technologies, process improvements, and evolving strategic requirements.
  • Deep understanding of industry, with the ability to manage costs and optimize budgets to drive business efficiency and financial performance.
  • Orientation toward implementing advanced technologies to enhance efficiency, especially in the context of digital transformation within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong change management abilities, multitasking skills, and resilience under pressure.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of foreign trade regulations and the global economy.
  • Understanding of international variances in cultural and legal issues pertaining to sales.
  • Formulate, implement and manage sales plans, programs and policies.
  • Willing & able to travel domestically and internationally.
