As the Sales Director, you will lead and shape the sales strategy to deliver transformative business growth, foster strong client partnerships, and drive sales excellence. This is a pivotal role for a passionate sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced and technically demanding environment.
Responsibilities
1. Sales Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Plan, lead, and manage the sales teams of TTV, TTP/TTF, and services
- Monitor sales performance to ensure high customer satisfaction and service quality
- Provide training and coaching for sales staff, ensuring they achieve their targets.
- Appraise and evaluate sales staff performance, counseling when necessary.
2. Strategic Sales Planning & Business Development:
- Develop long-term sales strategies to support company growth.
- Establish sales objectives, forecast annual quotas, and project expected sales volumes and profitability.
- Manage Principal agreements and relationships to strengthen the product portfolio.
- Identify and mitigate business risks in various market channels
- Convert project-based contracts into long-term service agreements (LTSA)
3. Project Sales & Delivery Management
- Oversee the entire project sales lifecycle, from tendering to contract execution.
- Inspect and align project orders with proposals and technical documentation.
- Manage project delivery schedules, identify risks, and resolve issues arising promptly
- Protect and increase project margins while ensuring delivery quality and adherence to timelines.
- Identify additional business opportunities during project execution to enhance contract value.
4. Operational Excellence & Sales Analytics:
- Maximize gross profit while minimizing late deliveries and payments
- Optimize pricing strategies by analyzing costs, competition, and market demand.
- Maintain a comprehensive sales database for accurate forecasting and decision-making.
- Provide insights through data analytics to improve sales operations
Authority
- Sign bid forms, acknowledgments, and quotations
- Represent the company in contract negotiations and sign commercial contracts.
- Manage correspondence and proposals during the bidding process.
- Collaborate with ISO teams to maintain and improve quality standards (ISO 9001:2015).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably in fields related to mechanical engineering, electrical automation, or industrial equipment).
- Experience: At least 10 years in sales management, ideally within the oil & gas industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Expertise in valves, pumps, or sealing systems is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Critical thinking, problem-solving, effective communication, and presentation skills.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English
- Other Skills: Detail-oriented, resilient under pressure, and experienced in matrix sales environments.
