Apple's Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel ongoing development of products and services. This in turn enables us to enrich lives. Our sales team, is in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers.

A unique opportunity exists for an extraordinary individual to contribute to the account management for Apple partners in Vietnam. Through a deep understanding of the country's retail channel, product and customer landscapes, the Account Manager will execute initiatives to improve capabilities and performance of assigned retail partners.

Description

  • Establish and lead close working relationship with the senior stakeholders & key people of retail partners
  • Strategize, develop and execute sales initiatives that drive incremental business outcomes and outstanding Apple customer experience
  • To develop partner sales efficiency and maximize the sales of Apple products to end-users
  • Develop and manage a reliable forecast and ensure the disciplined use of Apple sales forecasting tools and processes.
  • Hold regular performance and planning reviews with channel partners
  • Agree quarterly marketing and in-store / on-line activities to meet weekly sell through targets
  • Ensure all point-of-sales forecast from Partners are reliable and understand the weekly variance where applicable
  • Work closely with Reseller Operations to forecast and influence product supply to meet and exceed sales forecasts
  • Provide input to the Channel Marketing quarterly activities and in-store programs
  • Develop a strong working relationship with a broad virtual team covering operations, sales outcomes, marketing, business development, field team and strategy.
  • Implement planogram programs with in-store managers, as prescribed by Apple.
  • An ability to swoop and soar meaning be comfortable in both setting the strategy and in the detail to understand how they all join up.
  • Working with the Apple training team, to ensure that the partner sales staff are trained, insightful and confident in selling Apple products and the greater ecosystem.
  • Understand the market and stores on a deep level, spending time in-store and sharing insights.
  • Always represent the Apple brand to the highest level.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
  • 6+ years of professional channel management & retail sales experience or relevant account management experience, preferably with background from CE/IT/Smartphone, Software/Services or FMCG
  • Consistent track record in the delivery of ambitious growth targets
  • Sales management experience / Retail partnership management
  • Demonstrated ability to connect and influence key stakeholders, manage complex business partnerships and drive business objectives through key relationships
  • Demonstrated creativity in developing channel growth strategies with partners both short-term & long-term goals, while building sustainable value for customers and partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated outstanding communication, relationship building, influencing, in both English and Vietnamese
  • Proven ability to work through ambiguity with integrity
