Role Description
- Risk Assessment: Analyze data and financial statements to determine the level of risk involved in extending credit to new and existing clients.
- Risk Modeling: Develop and implement credit risk models, tools, and methodologies to predict potential risks and monitor portfolio performance.
- Risk Reporting: Prepare reports on risk analysis and report them to management.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the credit portfolio and recommend adjustments as needed to maintain an acceptable level of risk.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant risk regulations and internal policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with relevant Departments to ensure alignment of risk policies with business goals.
- Risk Policy Review: Assist in reviewing and updating the company's policies to ensure they reflect best practices and changes in the regulatory environment.
- Perform other tasks as the Head of Department and the Board of Management assign
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. (Master's degree or professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or PRM is a plus)
- Experience: At least 03 years of experience in credit risk analysis or a similar role in securities or banking.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, with a strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Candidates with anunderstanding of risk models (e.g., PD, LGD, EAD) and statistical tools (e.g., R, SAS, Python, Excel) are preferred.
- Candidates who can use English and/or Korean well is a plus
- Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present risk assessments and recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
