Job Description

  • Direct reports to: People Manager – PPM, TSC, Rewards, Ops
  • Direct reports: None
  • Full-time under ABI Third Party's contract

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Rewards Specialist is responsible for supporting the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the organization's total rewards framework. This role ensures that compensation and incentive programs are market‑competitive, internally equitable, and aligned with business and people strategy. The role also plays a key part in People processes, policies, and transformation initiatives to enable sustainable organizational performance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Salary Benchmarking & Analysis

  • Conduct regular salary benchmarking exercises using market survey data (e.g. Mercer or equivalent) to ensure external competitiveness.
  • Analyze pay structures, job levels, and market positioning to support informed compensation decisions.
  • Prepare insights and recommendations on pay gaps, internal equity, and market alignment.
  • Support job evaluation and grading exercises in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure consistency and fairness.

2. Compensation Review Cycles

  • Support the end‑to‑end execution of annual and ad‑hoc compensation review cycles, including salary increases, promotions, and adjustments.
  • Perform cost modeling, scenario analysis, and impact assessments to support decision‑making.
  • Partner with People Business Partners to ensure alignment with budget, governance, and approval processes.
  • Prepare compensation review materials, dashboards, and leadership presentations.

3. Incentive Programs

  • Support the design, implementation, and management of incentive programs aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure incentive plans are clearly defined, well‑communicated, and consistently applied.
  • Track plan effectiveness, payout outcomes, and participant eligibility.
  • Support governance, documentation, and post‑cycle reviews to drive continuous improvement.

4. People Processes & Policies

  • Contribute to the development, review, and maintenance of People policies and reward‑related processes, ensuring clarity, compliance, and scalability.
  • Ensure policies are consistently applied and well communicated to stakeholders.
  • Support documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process guidelines.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to address related queries and provide guidance.

5. People Transformation Initiatives (e.g. OWP, FOF)

  • Actively support People Transformation projects, including OWP (One Way People) and FOF (Focus on Fundamental).
  • Translate transformation objectives into practical reward, grading, and role architecture solutions.
  • Support change management by ensuring reward principles and structures reinforce desired behaviors and ways of working.
  • Participate in project workstreams, data analysis, and implementation efforts related to transformation initiatives.

6. Others

  • Team engagement & development
  • Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by line manager or head of function

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field

Position Experiences:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Rewards, Compensation, or Total Rewards
  • Experience with salary surveys and benchmarking methodologies (Mercer experience is a plus)
  • Exposure to compensation cycles, incentive plans, or transformation projects preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with HR systems is an advantage

Language:

  • Vietnamese (Native) and English (Fluent)

Knowledge/ Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Understanding of compensation principles and reward frameworks
  • Ability to work with data, models, and dashboards
  • Clear and structured communication skills
  • Stakeholder management and collaboration ability
  • Ability to operate with confidentiality and independence

  • Zone Rewards teams
  • External survey providers and consultants
