Youll play a key role in designing, building, and scaling our backend systems to serve millions of users. What Youll Do
- Ownthe backend architecture and drive technical decisions across services and infrastructure
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance backend services usingPython
- Architect distributed systems with patterns like replication, failover, message queues, and event-driven design
- Optimize databases (both relational & NoSQL) for performance and reliability
- Design solutions followingclean codeandclean architectureprinciples
- Scale systems horizontally to handle millions of users
- Implement and maintainCI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes deployments
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), includingcost monitoring and cost optimization
- Enforce code quality withautomation tests, linters, and static analysis tools
- Collaborate with product managers to ensure technical solutions align with product goals
- Be a key driver in improving engineering processes and mentoring other developers
What Were Looking For
- 5+ yearsof backend development experience, preferably instartup or high-growth environments
- Proficient inPython
- Strong foundation inalgorithms, complexity analysis, data structures, OOP, design patterns, networking, and operating systems
- Expert knowledge ofdatabase principles, with experience in bothrelationalandNoSQLdatabases
- Deep understanding ofdistributed systemsand distributed architecture patterns
- Proven experiencedesigning, optimizing, and scaling systemsto millions of users
- Hands-on experience withCI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
- Cloud experience withAWSorGCP, including setting up cost monitoring and optimization
- Commitment tocode quality, with strong testing and static analysis practices
- High ownership,responsibility, and strongproduct/startup mindset
