In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive IT security program. Accountabilities
- Perform internal audits, conduct vulnerability and penetration testing, and ensure security controls are fully implemented and monitored.
- Lead the governance of security architecture for internal IT and designated projects.
- Leverage Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) to embed security in the enterprise.
- Assess current security posture and establish monitoring and incident response processes.
- Manage security tools and collaborate with teams to integrate security across domains.
- Provide leadership to ensure compliant and resilient security.
- Maintain secure configurations and compliance with security requirements.
- Develop practical security roadmaps to address evolving threats.
- Apply NIST 800-53, FedRAMP Moderate, and CMMC 2.0 control requirements.
- Implement controls for intrusion detection within the Microsoft 365 security ecosystem.
- Collaborate with DevOps for security automation in CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct periodic reviews of encryption and key management practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field with at least nine years of experience.
- Minimum of three years in IT security administration or engineering.
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks, FedRAMP, and HIPAA.
- Proven ability to translate policies into actionable tasks.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender ATP and related tools.
- Solid understanding of Cloud and endpoint security tools.
- Experience with internal security audits and compliance reviews.
- Strong understanding of network security principles.
- Exceptional communication skills for articulating security risks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with scripting in PowerShell or Python.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
