Job Description
- Train the staff and supervise them in the performance of their duties.
- Promote and up sell excursions to guests, customizing where necessary to meet guest needs.
- Oversee the cleanliness of all Recreation facilities (including Fitness Center, Kids Club, Tennis Courts, Excursion Reservations area and Water Sports) and coordinate special requirements with Housekeeping.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and any special problems keeping Recreation Management well-informed and ensure proper follow-up.
- Coordinate, schedule, and lead successful recreational sports and activity programs catering to kid, teen, and adult guests.
- Instruct multi-sport programs
- Assist Recreation Manager in hiring, training, and day to day supervision of staff
- Supervise birthday, sports teams, and corporate functions
- Set-up, take down, and monitor activities, Yoga, Tai chi, Aqua Fitness, Beach football, etc.
- Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- Perform any other tasks or projects as assigned by the hotel management and staff.
Job Requirement
- College degree is required.
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
- One year experience in recreation.
- Strong supervisory skills.
- Outgoing personality and at ease with customers.
- Sound knowledge of water sports and recreational activities.
- Physically fit and able to swim.
- Trained and certified in First-Aid, CPR, life guarding and rescue techniques.
