In this role, you will be instrumental in the Vehicle T&V, using your extensive skills to process and analyze large volumes of data. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including Engineering, Quality Control and VINFAST suppliers, to create cutting-edge solutions that will drive the future of transportation.
- Lead all activities related to testing and validation execution, including subjective and objective evaluations, to ensure the completion of the Design Verification Plan (DVP) for vehicle energy management and range verification
- Ensure proper vehicle preparation by coordinating with functional partners (MMLs, Attribute, TnV) to achieve the required software and hardware status for representative testing results
- Execute in-house testing where applicable, ensuring adherence to the correct testing protocols in a timely and accurate manner.
- Process and analyze testing data, preparing detailed test reports with key findings and recommendations for optimization
- Track and oversee testing activities conducted by external suppliers to ensure compliance with testing standards
- Manage the JIRA system to document and track issues detected during testing, collaborating with relevant teams to drive technical resolutions
Requirements
Education & Professional Knowledge:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in electric vehicle (EV) testing, validation, and automotive energy management
Skills & Experience
- Strong expertise in powertrain systems, energy management, and efficiency optimization for electric vehicles
- Hands-on experience with vehicle instrumentation, data acquisition, and analysis for testing.
- In-depth knowledge of range and efficiency test procedures, including Coast Down testing and energy consumption optimization
- Practical experience in retrofitting and modifying vehicle exterior/interior components.
- Proven experience in electronic data capture and analysis of testing data
Other Requirements
- Strong understanding of vehicle system fundamentals, particularly for electric vehicles
- Problem-solving mindset with analytical thinking and a results-oriented approach
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
