You will be part of a world class Global Manufacturing Operation organization and contribute to developing and implementing process development and manufacturing solutions for Cisco's products.
- You will Investigate, develop, and deploy manufacturing solutions for hardware systems with liquid cooling & Hybrid solution in large scale.
- You will lead in the development of test plans and qualification requirements to ensure mechanical and manufacturing robustness of manufacturing process, including liquid cooling kits assembly, leakage testing and detection, coolant fill, Nitrogen charge, cleanness test, and purge process, curing process and manufacturing testing.
- You will establish parameters for thermal testing, correlation of test results between factory and suppliers.
- You will partner with Cisco hardware design, component engineering , product engineering, EMS / JDM/ODM manufacturing partner teams to improve specifications and process qualification procedures.
Develop repeatable debug and repair manufacturing process for liquid cooling products including thermal and electrical sub components
- Develop process automation & poka-yoke for better process control, factory quality, and throughput
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 1 – 2 years of experience in manufacturing and testing for electronic devices and systems, preferably in EMS manufacturing Liquid cooling products.
- 5+ years of experience in electronic device and system level air cooled or hybrid technologies
- Experience in mechanical design validation and testing for electronic assemblies
- Knowledge of PCBA technologies
- Capable for Liquid cooling Component and system failure analysis, familiar with leakage/corrosion test detection and coolant purity/contamination control
- Familiar with liquid cooling infrastructure & architecture – facility services (chillers & cooling towers, required primarily loop pressures & temps, CDUs, Outer and Inner manifolds, types and Quick Disconnects)
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience in PCBA (L6) and Box build (L10) manufacturing
- Experience in developing & building liquid cooling testing infrastructure for electronic devices and systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting and thermal validation with data acquisition systems, airflow, and environmental chambers
- Ability to lead diverse global technical teams in matrix organization without direct reports
- Continuous learning and connection to industry and consortium
- Good interpersonal skills - communication, project management & execution
- Lean / six sigma certification and application in manufacturing environment
