Qc Automation

Job Description:

• Build an Automation framework for the project based on the banks Katalon toolkit.
• Design and develop automated test scripts from manual test cases.
• Write/update Automation testing documents (Test cases/Test scripts/Checklists/Test reports).
• Execute functional and non-functional tests using automation scripts.
• Report to QC Lead and manage project defects.

Responsibilites:

• Develop new Automation frameworks and common libraries for the project.
• Design and write automated test scripts based on manual test cases.
• Implement and execute test scripts using Katalon; required tools/skills include Selenium, Gherkin syntax, Postman, Cucumber, Git, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, ReactJS, React Native, RESTful APIs, AWS, Firebase.
• Write/update Automation test documentation (Test scripts/Checklists/Test reports).
• Execute functional and non-functional automated tests.
• Manage and resolve project bugs.
• Report to Test Lead.
• Perform website testing across multiple browsers and platforms, including Mobile.
• Work within Agile software development processes (JIRA).
• Proactively communicate with stakeholders to resolve issues during automation testing.

Requirements:

• Selenium, Gherkin, Postman, Cucumber, Git.
• JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, ReactJS, React Native, RESTful APIs.
• AWS, Firebase.
• Preferably experienced with Katalon using Python or JavaScript.
• Bachelors degree.
• ISTQB certification (preferred).
• Solid knowledge of Automation framework development and hands-on experience in building reusable common libraries for Automation Testing.
• Experience in website testing across different browsers/platforms and Mobile.
• Understanding of Web and React Native application development.
• Experience with relational database concepts and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with software development processes and Agile frameworks (JIRA).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Good communication and ability to work both independently and in teams.
