Mercatus, a Relationshop company, is an e-commerce product company looking for an experienced full-time QC/QA Leader to develop and handle our platform Our products are used in the US, Canada, Central America, Europe and Israel. We already have hundreds of B2B2C customers.
B - Responsibilities
- Manage, lead and coach a team of experienced manual and automated test engineers to accomplish business objectives and meet expectations
- Attract, hire and retain key talent. Employ best leadership skills and practices to build and motivate the team.
- Lead onboarding effort for new team members.
- Engage in meaning full 1:1s with your team members, covering a range of topics: job fulfillment, career ambitions and subsequent planning and ongoing issues
- Contribute to the software delivery process, from exploratory testing to developing acceptance criteria, to bug advocacy, to verification-based testing.
- Coordinate with the product, engineering, and design manager son the team to meet key objectives and advocate for quality
- Employ Total Quality Management strategies by implementing continuous and systematic improvement, integration and streamlining of meetings
- Help shape company-wide processes and work with other Engineering Managers to continually evaluate how we can better support our reports and each other
- Design, architect, and execute initiatives to improve Quality Assurance process and increase product
- Evaluate, recommend, build and maintain an ecosystem of tools, frameworks and libraries
- Lead the development of automation initiatives using Python for APIs, web port
C - Required skills and qualifications
- Have minimum 5+ years of experience in lead team in software testing
- Have experience in Manual and automated testing tools/frameworks (Postman, Cypress, Selenium,...)
- Have experience languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, Java Script, Python
- Good understanding on testing process, testing lifecycle
- Good English
- Having working experience in e-commerce domain knowledge is a plus
- Working experience in remote distributed team.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum model
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence
