Jobs Description

• Database Management & Performance: Installing, configuring, and upgrading database software (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL). Monitoring system health and optimizing performance to prevent downtime.

• Security & Data Integrity: Implementing security measures to protect data from unauthorized access, maintaining data integrity, and Managing user permissions.

• Backup & Recovery: Developing and testing backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data is never lost.

• Data Modeling & Design: Assisting in the design and structure of databases based on company needs.

• Support & Troubleshooting: Providing technical support to developers and users for queries, performance bottlenecks, and system errors.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to collect, process, and store large volumes of data from diverse sources.

• Develop and maintain ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data from source systems into the data warehouse, ensuring data quality and consistency.

• Implement and optimize data warehouse architectures and indexing strategies for efficient data storage and retrieval.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver innovative solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and storage; with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues, implementing solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.

Jobs requirement

1. Qualification

• University Degree majored in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant.

2. Work Experience

• 4+ years working experience in Database Admin (DBMS and Non-DBMS) as: Oracle, SQL server, MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python with experience in SQL databases

• Minimum 02 years working experience on financial industry (working in banks or micro-finance companies is preferred)

3. Knowledge

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with DBMS platforms (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL). Knowledge of operating systems like Linux or Windows Server.

4. Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience working with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds

• Can use English.

5. Preferred

• Some experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and proficiency in cloud-based data services.

• Familiarity with any one of the data visualization tools such as OBIEE, Tableau, Power BI.
