Position:PROJECT MANAGER
Working Location: Company's office (Etown, Tan Binh, HCM) and Project site (Southwestern region - Vnh Long, Tr Vinh,...)
Purpose of the job: Ensure that the plant construction project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. Achieve all project objectives, both business and technical.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and implement construction and installation activities according to the established plan.
- Contractor/supplier selection: Participating in the bidding process to select main contractors, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers in accordance with the bill of quantities specified in the design drawings.
- Construction supervision: Controlling quality, progress, costs, and occupational safety during construction. Evaluating project performance and recommending improvements.
- Risk management: Proactively identifying, evaluating, and mitigating potential threats. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address emerging challenges.
- Progress report: A regular report on project progress, costs, and any issues to superiors and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Graduated from a university with a major in engineering (electrical, mechanical, civil) or project management.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience managing construction projects, with a strong focus on renewable energy initiatives.
- Extensive expertise in power generation technologies.
- Knowledge of regulations governing power plant construction investment.
- Technical standards for the construction and operation of power plants.
- Proficient in reading engineering and design drawings.
- Leadership, management, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with partners and suppliers.
- Ability to quickly and effectively resolve issues that arise during work.
- Time management: Ability to plan, organize, and manage time efficiently.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and a strong sense of responsibility.
