Location: Vietnam or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Hybrid/Flexible)

Employment Type: Full-time (Contract via Deel)

Travel Requirement: Frequent business travel across the APAC region (primarily Malaysia)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead customer deployment and migration projects across the APAC region for Scality, a global leader in enterprise data storage and cyber resilience solutions.

In this client-facing role, you will manage projects from kickoff to successful delivery, working closely with Customer Success, Sales, Support, and Engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end customer implementation and migration projects across APAC.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables while ensuring successful execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Support, Professional Services, and customer stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and change management processes.
• Track project KPIs, including delivery milestones, project quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and identify potential commercial opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in project management processes and best practices.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of Project Management experience in an IT environment (Infrastructure, Software, or Technology Services).
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating cross-functional and international teams.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers.
• Experience working across different APAC countries is an advantage.

Technical Knowledge

• Good understanding of data storage, backup solutions, and IT infrastructure.
• Ability to understand IT architecture and technical solution designs.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Object Storage (S3), NAS, SAN, or RAID is a plus.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum certifications are advantageous.

• Fluent in English and Vietnamese (French is a plus).
• Willingness to travel frequently across the APAC region.

Salary & Benefits

• Competitive salary: USD 38,000 – 40,000/year.
• 10% annual performance bonus based on the company bonus plan.
