Job Description

Job Description:

  • Team works on driving Shopee's price competitiveness by influencing seller's pricing strategies and platform rebate distribution to maximize ROI & GMV
  • Build comprehensive understanding of Recommendation products on user scenarios, business value, technical feasibility, and Recommendation strategy
  • Own Recommendation algo PM focuses on optimizing recommendation strategy, to support platform growth and user experience optimization
  • Drive development of advanced machine learning-based solutions for product recall/ranking and feature optimisation strategies
  • Design experiments to iterate and develop new and existing features
  • Use data to understand customer behaviour and performance of features, and be data-driven in estimating size of impact and determining prioritisation
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Operations to bring ideas to life
  • Participate actively in the road-mapping and prioritisation of major R&D components

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Strategy or Consulting. Recommendation-related or top tech company experiences is a plus
  • Robust quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills and strong logical and critical thinking abilities
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Math & Stats, Engineering, or a related applied quantitative field MBA is a plus
  • Data-oriented, self-driven, and possesses a strong sense of ownership
