Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

PROCUREMENT & VENDOR MANAGEMENT (35%)

  • Source, evaluate, and develop local and international suppliers.
  • Negotiate, prepare, and manage the execution of domestic and international purchasing contracts.
  • Classify and evaluate supplier performance based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Monitor purchasing price history and analyze/forecast market price fluctuations.
  • Coordinate with logistics, transportation, and insurance partners to ensure smooth procurement operations.

ORDER MANAGEMENT (35%)

International Purchasing

  • Work with overseas suppliers and logistics/insurance partners.
  • Coordinate internally to place and confirm purchase orders.
  • Prepare and handle international trade documents, shipping documents, and insurance paperwork.

Domestic Purchasing

  • Work with local suppliers and logistics/insurance partners.
  • Place, monitor, and confirm domestic purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.

SALES ORDERS & CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE MANAGEMENT (20%)

  • Receive and confirm sales orders from strategic customers.
  • Coordinate internally and work with the Sales Department to:
  • Issue quotations
  • Provide information on quantities, pricing, delivery schedules, and delivery documentation
  • Monitor and manage sales contracts for strategic customers.

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (10%)

  • Receive customer requests related to supplier evaluation.
  • Coordinate internally to prepare required documents and information requested by customers.

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, International Business, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in international purchasing.
  • Experience working with logistics and insurance partners is required.
  • Strong data analysis skills: Advanced Excel skills (mandatory); Knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot, or Power BI is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and logical presentation skills.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in import & distribution companies, especially in precious metals, FMCG, chemicals, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Good command of English.
