Procurement Specialist

• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are timely met in terms of work plans, quality, price, and delivery
• Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers, and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and Purchasing best practice tools and methods
• Conduct contract/PO, ensure accuracy of Goods/services delivery, proceed to ensure timely payment process for the Supplier
• Ensure the continuous supply of required goods and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations
• Conduct Vendor/Supplier Evaluation; Carry out initial site visits to build a greater understanding of supplier capabilities & refine supplier listing. Explore alternative sources for goods and services.
• Conduct market survey; Sourcing and Identifying suppliers of goods and services
• Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Proven experience working as a procurement specialist in the same area required
• 4+ years of experience in technical purchasing is required
• Sourcing, negotiating, and buying goods, materials, and services to meet the Company's operational requirements.
• Preferred candidates have experience in procuring technology industry
• Good command of PC skills, including advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP (Oracle Netsuite) would be preferred
• Good knowledge of the industry and market conditions
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
